Hey everyone!
Let’s talk about creating content. Anyone else ever struggle at being original? I will try so hard and find myself just rambling in circles. Right now is one of those times for me. Here are 5 tips for all the bloggers who have a hard time coming up with new ideas for their page!
WRITE A POST ABOUT IT
When you feel stuck in a rut, might as well write a post about it! When you take a break from blogging, jumping back in can be a bit rough. Being original is key but let’s be honest, we all have times where creativity isn’t exactly flowing through our veins. So here I am writing this post hoping that someone can relate!
WRITE A REVIEW
Whether it’s on a product or an experience, reviews are a semi-easy and always interesting content idea. Everyone reads reviews when trying something new. I personally love writing out my favorites for each month (I’ve already been working on my September favorites) and it’s always my favorite post I put out!
FIND A MUSE
Watch a new movie, try new foods, take a walk outside. Let the world inspire you! We all need a little jump start sometimes, and sometimes trying something new and breaking your regular routine will do the trick.
DON’T OVERTHINK IT
Don’t force yourself to make content. Go with the flow and remember that quality is more important than quantity. Don’t force yourself to write paragraph after paragraph. I catch myself doing this sometimes, and it usually ends up sounding so robotic. There’s nothing wrong with short and sweet! After all, blogging should be fun!
POST WHAT YOU LIKE TO READ
Post about things that you enjoy and would read about. For me, I love reading about products that other people love. I also post about mental health. Getting your feelings out there feels therapeutic. I also appreciate when other bloggers do this: it makes me understand them a bit better as a person. So whether it’s that, recipes, DIYs, or any other interest – posting about what you love will help you gain a similar audience, plus you’ll enjoy what you’re doing.
I’m finishing off this post feeling more inspired for the next one! What do you do when you feel stuck in a rut? Please comment below!
Hope you’re all having a happy Monday!

Totally agree with not overthinking it! My best posts are the ones I have written quickly after having an idea.

Sometimes I’m too caught up in a rut while choosing what to post so I usually chill and relax until an idea comes up. 🙂

If I ever get stuck, I just share some of my old posts and listen to music (as I am a music blogger). Then, I find some inspiration in those two activities and then write again.

Thank you for this. The struggle is real! There are times when I can’t think of anything, and pressuring myself to write/be consistent is making it worse. Sometimes life gets in the way.
